Help keep our club going and growing
Summit United FC runs on people who show up. That's it. That's the whole model.
No corporate budget, no paid staff — just a community of folks who love soccer enough to give their time to it. You don't need to be a former pro or a soccer expert. You just need to care about building something good for your community.
Whatever your skill set, we have a place for you here.
COACHING
On-field experiences, teaching the game, mentoring young athletes, planning + holding team trainings, coaching game play during regular season and tournaments.
TEAM MANAGERS

We Need Referees - and yes, referees get paid
Every match needs someone in the middle making the calls, and honestly, we could use more Renegades willing to step into that role. So let's talk about what it actually takes.

Why it Matters
Referees are part of what makes the system work. Without enough certified refs, games get harder to schedule, seasons get squeezed, and players lose out on time on the field.
If you love the game, know the rules (or are willing to learn them), and want a flexible way to stay involved while getting paid — this might be exactly the thing for you.
What It Pays
UYSA's current pay scale runs $30 to $65 per game, depending on the level and age group you're officiating. That's real money for a few hours on a field you probably already show up to anyway for practice or your own kid's games.
How to Get Certified
Get StartedGetting certified is pretty straightforward:
1. Sign up for an Entry Level Grassroots course through the State Referee Committee.
2. Complete the online training — about 4.5 hours of e-learning covering the Grassroots Referee Course, SafeSport training, and a certification quiz — before attending your in-person clinic.
3. Attend the in-person session to finish certification.
4. Order your referee kit and register with UYSA's assigning platform, and you're ready to start taking games.
Here's the best part: UYSA subsidizes the certification fee.
Cost- $60 (certificaiton during July 1–Dec 31) or $40 (certification Jan 1–June 3) — instead of the full $90–$110 fee.
New course dates go live on the SRC calendar starting July 1st each year.
